Automatic Gate Installation

We install automatic sliding and swing gates and parking gate barriers for perimeter entrances, compounds and car parks. Work starts with the site, the vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and the level of access control required.

What gate installation involves

The perimeter gate is the first control point of any facility. It manages vehicle and pedestrian entry, protects the site and sets the first impression for visitors. Vally World provides automatic gate installation in Riyadh and across Saudi Arabia, covering automatic sliding and swing gates, parking gate barriers and entrance solutions linked to access control.

An external gate is a different job from an internal door. Ground conditions and foundations, site levels, the clear space beside or in front of the gate, direct exposure to heat and dust, and the route for power and control cables all affect the design. Each gate is therefore assessed in place, and specifications are defined per project based on opening size, usage and site conditions.

The service is used by owners, contractors and facility managers at residential compounds, factories, warehouses, commercial buildings and car parks, whether for new projects or to replace a manual or ageing gate.

What the service includes

  • Entrance survey: measuring the opening and checking ground, posts and side clearance.
  • Gate selection: sliding gate, swing gate or parking barrier based on site and traffic.
  • Civil requirements: defining foundations, tracks and ducting needed before installation.
  • Supply and installation: fixing the gate, operator and tracks accurately.
  • Electrical connection: wiring the motor and controller to the agreed site layout.
  • Safety devices: photocells and anti-crush protection for vehicles and people.
  • Opening methods: remotes, readers or push buttons as required.
  • Access control integration: linking to entry or parking systems where needed.
  • Testing and handover: live testing, user briefing and manual release instructions for power cuts.

How gate installation is delivered

  1. Define requirements

We look at the entrance type, traffic volume and the level of access control needed.

  2. Site survey

We measure the entrance and check ground, tracks and power as part of our site survey service.

  3. Solution and quotation

We propose the gate type, operator and opening methods, and list the civil works required.

  4. Installation and wiring

Once foundations and ducting are ready, we install the gate and connect controls and safety devices.

  5. Testing and handover

We test operation, safety and integration, then hand over with user guidance.

What a well-installed gate delivers

  • Controlled entry

Manage who enters and when, with optional links to access control records.

  • Perimeter protection

A solid, properly fixed gate strengthens site security outside working hours.

  • Safety for vehicles and people

Correctly set sensors and safety devices reduce the risk of impact during movement.

  • Resilience outdoors

Sound installation that accounts for heat and dust limits environment-related faults.

  • Smoother traffic

The right gate type for the space and traffic reduces queuing at the entrance.

FAQ

Questions about Automatic Gate Installation

Sliding or swing gate: which suits my site?

It depends on the space beside and in front of the entrance, ground levels and traffic. Sliding gates need side clearance, while swing gates need room for the leaf to open. We recommend the right option after a site survey.

Can the gate be linked to access control?

In most cases, yes. Gates and barriers can be connected to card readers, access control or parking systems. The integration method depends on the system required or already in place.

What happens during a power cut?

Gate operators usually include a manual release so the gate can be opened without power. We explain how to use it at handover, and additional options can be discussed per project.

Are civil works included?

We define the civil works needed, such as foundations, tracks and cable ducting, before installation. Who carries out those works is agreed as part of each project scope.
